SongSpot is a free guess the song game you can play instantly in your browser. These rules explain every part of a survival run, from the first tiny clip to sharing the game with a friend.
What is SongSpot?
SongSpot is an endless music survival game. Identify songs from short previews, build a streak, and keep your three lives for as long as possible.
How do the five clips work?
Every song starts with 0.1 seconds. A wrong guess or skip unlocks 0.5, 2, 8, and finally 15 seconds. Earlier answers earn more points.
How do lives and streaks work?
Missing a song after the last stage costs one life and resets your combo. Every five songs solved in a row restores one life, up to three.
What changes with difficulty?
Easy uses globally familiar songs, Medium goes wider, and Hard digs deeper. Before playing the first clip, a new choice takes effect immediately; later changes apply to the next song. Friends opening a shared link can choose their own difficulty.
Do I need an account?
No. Your preferences, recent songs, and personal bests stay in this browser.
How do shared links work?
Finish a run to generate a seven-day link. Sharing or copying it restores one life once per run. Your friend opens the normal game and chooses their own difficulty. Expired links still open the game.
